Systemic Racism and Daily Struggles in Iran
Why Afghan Refugees Deserve Global Attention, Not Blame Amid escalating conflicts, Afghan refugees have become convenient scapegoats. In Iran and beyond, they are falsely accused of political affiliations and targeted for abuse. The truth is: these individuals fled war and persecution, seeking peace and opportunity.
They are not a threat; they are victims of displacement. GOA calls on international actors to distinguish between propaganda and lived reality. Afghan refugees need protection, not punishment. We advocate for policies that uphold human dignity, protect refugee rights, and counter xenophobic narratives.
GOA’s Role in Supporting Afghan Communities Across Borders Generation Outside Afghanistan is more than an NGO—we are a movement. Since 2014, we’ve worked to bridge emergency response with long-term empowerment for displaced Afghans worldwide. Our work spans countries and continents, from legal support in Greece to educational programs in Iran and Pakistan.
Our mission is rooted in community and action. Whether it’s organizing demonstrations or building schools, we remain committed to justice, inclusion, and refugee-led solutions. The Afghan diaspora is powerful, and together, we are reshaping our future.
Fighting Genocide: Our Advocacy for Hazara Rights The Hazara community has long faced persecution in Afghanistan. From targeted bombings to social exclusion, their suffering is ongoing and underreported. At GOA, we continue to advocate fiercely against the Hazara genocide, calling for international recognition and accountability.
We organize protests, educate the public, and work with minority rights groups to ensure the Hazara voice is never silenced. Justice for Hazaras is not optional—it’s urgent.
7. Protest as Power: Mobilizing for Justice Across Europe GOA organizes and co-hosts protests across Europe to raise awareness about Afghan human rights. From marches in Athens to demonstrations in London, we bring visibility to Afghan women’s struggles, refugee oppression, and ethnic violence.
Our rallies are peaceful yet powerful. They send a clear message: the Afghan diaspora will not stay silent. Join our upcoming events and stand with us in solidarity.
