After August 2021, severe problems of refugees and asylum seekers, as well as the humanitarian crisis, continue to prevail in Pakistan. Due to a multitude of requests needed to be addressed, our three organizations, Generation Outside Afghanistan in collaboration with Europäisches Jugend- und Sozialwerk gGmbH and Afghans Empowered, decided to create the women’s centre Network for the Empowerment of Women and Youth (NEW).
We are pleased to announce that its official launch took place on January 20, 2026, firstly to record the difficulties of women, youth and vulnerable families and also to find solutions through the Pakistani authorities, local and international organizations as well as to create opportunities for their empowerment and integration into local societies.
For those awaiting scholarships, in resettlement and family reunification programs, we have commenced educational courses to provide more substance and quality in the daily lives of applicants, aimed at preventing social and psychological obstacles.
