Supporting Life in Palestine
The event ‘Supporting Life in Palestine’ that took place at the Anagennisis Hall in Akrata, Greece on Saturday, August 30, 2025 was organized in support of ending the genocide of Palestine. Present at the event were Palestinians of the diaspora, local supporters and members of Generation Outside Afghanistan. The event was initiated by Actress-Director Nisreen Faour, a dynamic woman striving for her voice to be heard to free the people of Palestine. She presented her personal story, the history of her forefathers, and speakers Nahead Bishara, Naseem Alatrash, Nawsat Hadid and Evangelia Sotiropoulou, continued with images of the genocidal carnage, the causes as well as tools of suppression from different perspectives.
We, Generation Outside Afghanistan, deal with the refugee issue, supporting asylum seekers and refugees. We present their stories and the countless obstacles faced by women, children, vulnerable groups, and entire populations where inequality and war take place. The stories of persecution of our two countries are similar. We support their struggle and stand with them. Clearly, the phenomenon of Palestine is a global issue with events organized everywhere by academics as well as at public demonstrations against oppression and massacre.
It is a good time to join our voices together in saying NO to war, NO to the genocides of Palestine and Afghanistan and to end the wars wherever they may be so that people can live in dignity, with equality and without discrimination.
We, Generation Outside Afghanistan, would like to thank the local community for welcoming the guests and the Palestinian diaspora who, with their stories and songs, participate with us in solidarity and support of events like this.
