This year we celebrated Yalda Night with refugee women in Pakistan.

The celebration on December 20, 2025 had a double significance together with the opening of the newly established women and youth centre in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Over 60 women and children participated including members of four organizations and communities, which was held in person and online. Participants delivered their opinions and suggestions for the centre.

Our goals are to be able to achieve a system of solidarity among women in Pakistan. We can find solutions together by recording their issues and simultaneously eliminating misinformation. Solutions to their problems can be developed with proper understanding, also striving towards a sustainable life either in Pakistan or in another country.

Our representatives and partners from various European countries and the USA are active participants in events concerning women and children from Afghanistan. Efforts will be made in providing proper information and in finding sustainable solutions for their safety and well-being. With many years of work and experience, our three organizations support efforts towards women’s integration and in finding their strength and drive.

Surely everyone has hopes and dreams. We provide educational courses with the purpose of becoming useful for themselves in whichever country they live.

We would like to thank the initiative of our new representative, Ms. Farzana rezaie, who chairs the Movement of Afghanistan Women in Exile and who organized yesterday’s event together with volunteers. Living in the midst of the humanitarian crisis, Mrs. Rezaie has a deep knowledge of the situation.

We believe that by working together with all the women and organizations, we can succeed in saving lives and allow people to live in dignity and safety.
